Vunivalu says he can be more of a threat in rugby than he was in NRL – Sydney Morning Herald
Suliasi Vunivalu scored 86 tries from 111 appearances in the NRL but says he will ‘get more licence’ to use his skills in rugby.
I get more licence now in union, Vunivalu said. I can kick and do whatever stuff because we get unlimited ball. Whereas league you just carry it up-down the sideline. Thats an advantage for me. I get to get my hands more on the ball and come in off the wing.
I just cant wait to get in there tomorrow and dust some rust off and play some rugby.
