Volumes tumble as Sydney vendors shun virtual auctions – The Australian Financial Review
Virtual auctions are still shunned by many vendors who prefer the emotionally charged in-person auction to sell their homes.
While the number of properties pulled from the Sydney market and those sold before auction was lower this time around compared to a year ago, they still accounted for a large reduction in auction volumes, which has fallen by 40 per cent in just three weeks.
