V’landys to appeal after losing ABC defamation case over racehorse expose – Sydney Morning Herald
The Racing NSW boss sued the broadcaster over a two-year investigation, which he argued made him look very bad and flippant about issues of racehorse cruelty.
It tended to convey that the regulators, including Mr Vlandys, were not effective if not incompetent when it came to dealing with wastage in the industry, Justice Wigney said.
