When winter hits in 2021, Sydneysiders can prepare to be ensconced in projections once again. After taking a year off in 2020, Vivid Sydney’s annual festival of light, music and ideas is returning from Friday, August 6–Saturday, August 28.
The most overt (and unavoidable) aspect of the program is the lights. The music and events lineup is yet to be announced, but you can expect an exciting and eclectic roster from the team that have previously brought the likes of The Cure, Florence and the Machine, Solange, Bon Iver and Ice Cube.
While this year’s festivities are sure to be dictated by COVID-19 restrictions, they will also be given a helping hand by new NSW Government legislation that will help venues host live music…
