Virus detectives ‘concerned’ by mystery cases as NSW doubles down on tracers – Sydney Morning Herald
NSW recorded 15 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, including five that could not be immediately traced to known outbreaks.
There are now 45 confirmed cases in the Crossroads Hotel cluster in Casula and the nearby Planet Fitness gym, and three cases in a separate cluster from the Thai Rock restaurant in Wetherill Park.
Jeremy McAnulty, NSW Deputy Chief Health Officer, said the priority was to establish any links between known clusters and the five mystery cases of community transmission.
