The Melba Opera Trust has used virtual reality to bring an opera performance into an aged care home. Just like music therapy, it’s hoped the VR performance will help stimulate memory in people living with dementia. It has also provided a rare performance opportunity for opera singers who have been unable to perform for most of the year.
