Virgin sale to see Gold Coast flights drop to $67 as 52 destinations discounted

Rain-soaked Sydneysiders can look forward to a Queensland holiday on the cheap as Virgin Australia cuts fares for flights to dozens of locations.

The Sydney-Gold Coast route will fall to $67 one-way for economy class from Thursday.

The same price will be offered for tickets for Melbourne-Adelaide flights.

Discounts are being offered for 52 destinations from April 21 to December 15 this year.

The sale will last from Thursday to Monday, March 29, or until sell-out, according to Virgin.
