Virgin Australia’s almost 9000 employees will discover on Wednesday how many of them will still have jobs under the ownership of US private equity firm Bain Capital.

Virgin Australia is set to announce key details about its plans for the future under new owner Bain Capital, including how many of its 9000 workers will retain their jobs.
The airline, which went into voluntary administration in April with debts of $6.8 billion, is also expected to announce the make-up of its fleet and where it will fly.
