Virgin Australia co-founder breaks cover in race for airline – The Australian Financial Review
Virgin Australia’s rebel bondholders have wheeled out a slew of former executives in the latest push to demonstrate the credibility of their proposal.
Broad Peak and Tor believe their offer would see up to 67¢ on the dollar returned to bondholders.
Alongside Mr Sherrard, this proposal has the support of former founding executive Bruce Highfield, former financial officer Manny Gill, former general manager of network operations Andrew Lillyman and ex-public affairs general manager Heather Jeffery.
