Vincent Van Gogh’s Street Scene in Montmartre sells twice at auction
A Vincent Van Gogh painting of a Paris street scene fetched 14 million euros ($21.7 million) at auction on Thursday, only to be put back under the hammer and sell for a lower amount.

Auction house Sotheby’s said there had been a glitch with its online bidding system during the first sale of the painting, which had been held in a private collection for more than a century away from the public eye.
