One of the new cases is a 28-year-old man coming back to Ho Chi Minh City from Hai Duong Province, Vietnam’s current biggest Covid-19 hotspot. He had been to a wedding in Hai Duong together with a cousin, who was later confirmed as a Covid-19 patient linked to the cluster in the northern province’s Chi Linh Town.
Two other cases are a couple in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai, related to the outbreak in Chi Linh.
