Melbourne Victory’s off-season recruitment has been rather prosaic to date, but reports linking them with two well-credentialed imports will lift fans’ spirits.
Melbourne Victory’s post-season recruitment has been entirely prosaic to date, with Elvis Kamsoba the latest of a batch of current players to have been re-signed to help kick start a recovery after a season which saw Victory sink to it’s lowest on-field ebb.
But their fans, clamouring for the club to sign some well-credentialed imports, are taking some solace from reports that are linking them with two English Championship players, winger Callum McManaman and midfielder Jacob Butterfield.
