Victoria’s last wool scouring mill to close in Geelong with 30 jobs lost
The last early-stage wool processing mill in Victoria will close next month, ending more than 160 years of wool scouring in the state.
Wool scouring is the process of cleaning and removing impurities from the fleece, so it can be manufactured into clothing, blankets or other items.
