Victorian students get their VCE results after a year of disruption

Thousands of year 12 students across Victoria have received their VCE and VCAL results after a year of study interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Key points:
- About 65,000 students received their VCE or VCAL results this morning
- 38 students achieved the top VCE score of 99.95
- Students are being reminded there are many pathways to career success
The Victorian Education Department said 50,284 students will graduate with their VCE, and a record 14,529 students will receive their VCAL.
VCE exams finished at the start of December, two weeks later than they were scheduled to finish prior to the pandemic.
