Victorian Minister in charge of hotel quarantine, Lisa Neville, admitted to hospital with ‘serious’ condition
Victoria’s Police Minister, Lisa Neville, has been admitted to hospital due to a medical condition not related to COVID-19 and is expected to be off work for more than a week.
Ms Neville released a statement this afternoon saying Health Minister Martin Foley would take over the Police and Emergency Services folio, which includes responsibility for Victoria’s coronavirus hotel quarantine arrangements.
“Late last night I was admitted to hospital as a result of complications associated with a previously diagnosed medical condition,” Ms Neville, who is also Minister for Water, said in the statement.
