Victorian IBAC hearing played phone call between developer John Woodman and Liberal fundraiser

An anti-corruption inquiry has heard a phone call in which developer John Woodman told the Liberal Party’s fundraising arm he would consider donating if he was able to secure the support of Victorian party leader Michael O’Brien on state-based matters.

- Mr Woodman said he would be “more than happy” to donate but he needed support on some issues
- The Liberal fundraiser on the call agreed it “reads” that his donation would be dependent on the outcome of a proposed meeting with Mr O’Brien
