Victorian authorities ramp up testing in Sunbury amid Holiday Inn outbreak concerns

No new cases have been linked to a quarantine hotel cluster in Melbourne overnight, as Victorian authorities set up a new drive-through testing site north-west of Melbourne.
Victoria’s Department of Health this morning confirmed two infections were reported to authorities in the 24 hours to midnight yesterday.
Those cases, which were announced yesterday afternoon, were a worker at the Holiday Inn Melbourne airport, and an international traveller who completed hotel quarantine there.
No new overseas-acquired cases were reported yesterday.
Authorities received 22,570 test results on Wednesday, a slight decrease from the 22,849 processed on Tuesday.
