Victoria has recorded its first COVID-19 case in hotel quarantine, just days after the program restarted for the third time.
The Department of Health confirmed on Saturday morning the infection had been recorded by someone in hotel quarantine who had acquired the virus overseas.
There is just one active case in the state.
Victorias hotel quarantine program began on on Thursday after months of being shut down.
