Victoria has recorded 429 infections overnight, as more cases and deaths are linked to aged-care facilities and case numbers near 12,000.
Thirteen more people have died a man in his 60s, two men and a woman in their 70s, two men in their 80s and five women and two men in their 90s.
Eight of the 13 new deaths were linked to known outbreaks in aged care facilities. They take the states death toll to 136.
Of the 429 new infections, 36 were linked to outbreaks and 393 were under investigation.
