Melbourne police officers were called to shut the game down and give the kids a warning. That’s not how it turned out.
Victoria Police officers have been praised for their reaction when they were called to check on a group of kids playing basketball during Melbournes lockdown.
On Wednesday, a video – which you can watch above – was posted to Reddit showing a game of pick-up basketball on a public court in Melbournes Carlton Gardens.
The person who posted the vision said police were notified about the activity and were asked to give the group a warning.
But the officers had other ideas – they joined in.
