Victoria Police investigating after car drove erratically on Melbourne’s Bourke Street
Police are investigating after a car drove erratically and sped down Bourke Street in Melbourne’s CBD.
Victoria Police said officers tried to pull over a green Toyota Corolla at Bourke Street near Swanston Street at about 4:55pm on Thursday.
However, police said the car “mounted a kerb and sped off”.
“The vehicle was followed by the Victoria Police Air Wing and last sighted in the St Kilda area,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
“Investigations into the incident remain ongoing and the vehicle remains outstanding.
“There have been no reports of any injuries connected to the incident.
“Anyone who sees the vehicle is urged to contact triple-0 immediately.”
