Daniel Andrews says he is in detailed discussions with supermarkets ahead of the busiest period of the year.

The Victorian premier has confirmed restrictions on some warehousing in the state could provide a challenge over this COVID-normal Christmas.
On Thursday, Woolworths and IGA warned restrictions on their distribution centres could see them fall behind in the Christmas rush.
While there are no concerns supermarkets will run out of items like toilet paper, minor temporary outages from store to store could result in customers needing to shop around to get what they want.
