Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked fans when they claimed they’d been married privately, three days before their official wedding on May 19, 2018.
It was a sweet moment, one they explained away by saying they wanted their official union to take place privately to avoid the “spectacle” of the public event that “wasn’t our day”.
