ViacomCBS to launch new streaming service in Australia – The Australian Financial Review
Network Ten-owner ViacomCBS will launch a new streaming service in early 2021 combining content from across the merged US giant’s portfolio, including new Showtime programming.

However, new Showtime programming launched from early next year will go with the new service. Stan has long-term agreements for other parts of the ViacomCBS portfolio, including Paramount, including TV and films, and a separate CBS library deal.
Stan had hoped to pinch HBO content from Foxtel, however the News Corp majority-owned pay TV provider was able to secure a renewal of its deal with WarnerMedia in May, albeit at a much higher price.
