Trainer Chris Calthorpe faces a nervous wait to see if his Group 1 winning filly Media Award will be passed fit to run in Saturdays Queensland Oaks (2200m) after Queensland Racing Integrity Commission vets determined she needed another day before being cleared.
The Australasian Oaks winner will require a further vet check on Saturday morning before being passed with officials concerned over lameness in one of her legs.
