The world will never be safe while any single country is still fighting the virus
The horrors of Covid-19 have thrown the world into turmoil for almost the whole of 2020 and its impact will reverberate for many years to come. Despite Wednesdays amazing news that a first vaccine has been given the go ahead in the UK it is hard, perhaps, to imagine that this will be a year that history looks back on with pride.
But it may be true, nonetheless. We have good reason to believe the chance to bring this pandemic under control is within grasp; as 2020 draws to a close we are on the cusp…
