Vaccine rollout contingencies ready to quash new clusters – The Australian Financial Review
Health authorities would use vaccine stocks to “ring” new virus clusters or major outbreaks.
Staff and residents will be vaccinated by separate workforces, as Australia follows best practice guidelines developed from evidence from overseas.
Injections will also take place at 16 Pfizer hubs at major hospitals around the country, including Sydneys Royal Prince Alfred and Westmead hospitals, Melbournes Monash Medical Centre and Austin Hospital, the Gold Coast University Hospital, the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Perth Childrens Hospital.
