It’s almost as if it’s the year’s greatest sucker-punch: success on the COVID-19 vaccine front but … don’t expect Australia’s borders to open to the world any time soon.
The rollout of vaccines for COVID-19 across the globe will not guarantee the door to international travel opens, Australia’s chief medical officer has said.
“At the moment, unfortunately, the vaccines that we know most about don’t appear to demonstrate any protection from transmission of the virus,” Paul Kelly said.
