The best back-to-back quarterly GDP results on record show how well Australia has handled the pandemic, but economic victory can’t be declared yet.

Its been decades since Australia rode the sheeps back. Now, weve moved into the air-conditioned comfort of harvesters with a near-record grain crop driving up the gross value-add of agriculture by a third.
It was the largest increase for the farm sector since 1983 when the break of that eras drought led to a huge wheat harvest. In 2020, the end of another drought again gave farmers a chance to make some decent money.
