US stocks lose ground as investors await more inflation data, ASX set to fall – ABC News
Wall Street takes a breather as investors watch for more signs of rising inflation, while the ASX is set to fall after a strong day yesterday.

US stocks have closed lower after a choppy trading session with investors focused on consumer inflation data out later this week.
Returns on US Treasury bonds fell for the fourth day in a row with the benchmark 10-year yield hitting a fresh two-week low of 1.557 per cent.
It jumped to 1.776 per cent at the end of March as investors fretted about rising inflation.
