US shopping centre turned into school with $4.6 million transformation – ABC News
Students who once shopped at a downtown mall are now attending high school in the former department store.

For school students in the the US city of Burlington, Vermont, the major department store was a popular spot to socialise.
- The city’s school was shut down after chemicals were found during renovations
- A former department store was then transformed into the new school
- The store will be a school for at least three and a half years
Unfortunately, the Macy’s department store, located in the north-east of the United States just 70 kilometres from the Canadian border, closed down in 2018.
