US elections news: Texas asks US Supreme Court to help Donald Trump upend election in long-shot lawsuit

The state of Texas has asked the US Supreme Court to throw out the voting results in four other states in a long-shot legal gambit intended to help President Donald Trump upend his election loss to president-elect Joe Biden.
Also, Trump has signed an executive order in which the secretary of Health and Human Services is directed to ensure that Americans have priority access to a coronavirus vaccine.
And Biden has called for urgent action on the coronavirus pandemic as he introduced a health care team that will be tested at every turn while striving to restore normalcy to the nation.
