A 37-year-old man has died in hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an altercation in Fortitude Valley last Tuesday (November 3).
Just before 9pm two men from an apartment building on Water Street allegedly became involved in a confrontation with the man, consequently causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.
A 28-year-old man also from Fortitude Valley and a 29-year-old Logan Central man have each been charged with unlawful striking, causing death.
They are due to appear before in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 14 and January 18 respectively.
