Up to one in seven medical diagnoses could be wrong, study reveals – Brisbane Times
Leading clinicians are warning that more needs to be done to lower the number of preventable misdiagnoses, leading in some cases to harm and even death.
Professor Scott said they were comfortable extrapolating from the US data because the two systems were very similar from a diagnostic standpoint.
