‘Unsellable’ Bale gives Real $488m headache in race for megastar – Fox Sports
It’s exactly a year since Real Madrid decided to pull the plug on Gareth Bale’s money-spinning move to China and they look to be regretting it ever since, with that decision looking likely to now cost them around £90m ($163m).

That, of course, didnt happen and Real spent the season paying both men a combined salary of £28.5m ($51.5m) to sit on the bench.
