Unsecured loads operation – Gold Coast
Gold Coast police have issued 22 traffic infringement notices during a three-day operation primarily targeting motorists driving with unsecured loads.
Between 4am Wednesday and 1pm Friday, officers from Nerang, Coomera and Mudgeeraba proactively patrolled the Pacific Motorway, including key entry and exit points.
Police issued 12 traffic infringement notices (TINs) for failing to secure a load, three for driving a defective vehicle and seven infringements for other driving-related offences including speeding, driving while unlicensed, fail to stop at red light, using a mobile phone and others.
