Unmanned boat found with motor running prompts search for Brisbane man

An unmanned boat found with its motor still running has prompted an air and sea search of Moreton Bay for a 26-year-old Brisbane man.
Water police and PolAir, the Queensland Police helicopter, were searching for the owner of the tinny, which was found still running about 100 metres off Mud Island, late Wednesday afternoon.
Police were alerted about 3.30pm on Wednesday to a small aluminium boat near the Port of Brisbane with no one on board.
Crews were searching for a Brisbane man believed to have fallen off the boat in the afternoon.
Water police, PolAir, Volunteer Marine Rescue and the Coast Guard were on scene.
