Australia’s unemployment rate fell slightly last month to 6.8 per cent, with 90,000 more people employed.

  • Youth unemployment rose by 0.1 per cent to 15.6 per cent
  • Underemployment people who want more hours of work dropped 1 per cent
  • A boost in part-time work rather than full-time has led the employment recovery

Full-time jobs rose 84,200 and part-time jobs rose by 5,800.
