‘Unacceptable failures’: Super funds call Rio Tinto to account over cave blast – Sydney Morning Herald
A group representing top super funds says an inquiry into the destruction of 46,000-year-old Aboriginal rock shelters has exposed serious operational failures at Rio Tinto.

“The parliamentary inquiry has shone a light on the events surrounding the destruction of the caves and exposed unacceptable cultural and operational failures by Rio Tinto,” ACSI chief Louise Davidson said. “Beyond the devastating cultural impact, these issues go to a company’s licence to operate.”
