The B117 variant of the novel coronavirus first detected in the United Kingdom in November has now hopped to over a dozen countries in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Prior to today, the B117 variant had been identified in Denmark, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Switzerland, Germany, France, Ireland, Israel, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
