(Bloomberg) — Less than half the U.K.s population can expect to be vaccinated against Covid-19, the Financial Times reported, citing the head of the governments vaccine task force.
People deemed at risk, such as those over 50 and health workers, will be the focus of the governments vaccination efforts, Kate Bingham told the newspaper. She said the government was aiming to vaccinate about 30 million people, out of the countrys population of about 67 million.
