UK coronavirus death toll rises by 1,035 – second highest Saturday increase ever – Birmingham Live
The total number of lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK has now exceeded three million since the outbreak began, according to the Government’s dashboard…
The Government also reported a further 1,035 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Saturday.
It brings the UK coronavirus death total to 80,868.
The grim figure is the second highest rise on a Saturday after 1,105 lost their lives to the disease on April 18.
