UFC 261: Chris Weidman suffers sickening broken leg against Uriah Hall

Chris Weidman has suffered a sickening leg injury just 15 seconds into his middleweight showdown with Uriah Hall at UFC 261.
In an eerily similar injury to the one he inflicted on Anderson Silva in 2013, Weidman threw a low kick to Hall’s left leg with their first and only exchange of the bout.
Weidman’s leg snapped in half instantly upon impact. He tried to stand on it, and it crumpled underneath him.
He immediately fell to the canvas in agony, and Hall didn’t need to follow up.
