A SpongeBob SquarePants virus themed episode has been pulled for mirroring current global events a little too closely.
The season 12 epidosde, ‘Kwarantined Crab’, follows a lockdown in place order issued on the Krust Krab fast food shack where SpongeBob works, following the discovery a staff member or patron has the ‘clam flu’.
Naturally, panic ensues and characters suspected of carrying the virus are thrown in the freezer.
