Two pedestrians killed as stolen car crashes on Brisbane’s bayside

Two pedestrians have been killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Brisbane’s bayside this evening, Queensland police say.
Police said officers were called to an intersection on Finucane Drive at Alexandra Hills about 5:30pm.
It is understood a stolen car crashed into an oncoming truck and the car then rolled onto the pedestrians.
Police said the alleged driver of the stolen vehicle, a 17-year-old boy, ran from the scene before being arrested.
Officers said the teenager had minor injuries.
The Queensland Ambulance Service said 10 crews, including critical care paramedics, attended the scene.
Authorities said the pedestrians killed were one male and one female.
