Two new cases of COVID-19 in Queensland, as restrictions begin to relax

At that time, health authorities were dealing with an outbreak around Goodna, Wacol, Redbank Plains and Ipswich.
Those cases were linked to an earlier outbreak at the Wacol Correctional Services Academy and the Ipswich Hospital, which grew to more than 40 cases.
Overall, six Queenslanders have died during the pandemic from a total of 1185 cases. More than 1.2 million COVID-19 tests have been carried out in Queensland.
On Friday, Ms Palaszczuk announced a further relaxation of restrictions in Queensland, to take effect from 4pm on Tuesday.
