Queensland Treasurer Cameron Dick said private investment in the state grew by 0.7 per cent in 2020, compared with a 1.7 per cent drop nationally.
“Throughout the skyline here in Brisbane during the first quarter of this year we see 21 additional cranes on the horizon,” he said.
“That is symbolic of the economic activity that is happening here in Brisbane and around Queensland.”
Mr Dick said the state would monitor economic activity in Brisbane during the Easter school holidays before determining whether any targeted stimulus…
