Two Blues put in strong showings during VFL practice game win over Williamstown – SEN
The match took place at Ikon Park on Saturday.
Top Carlton draft pick Liam Stocker has put his hand up for senior selection after a strong showing in a VFL practice match against Williamstown on Saturday afternoon.
It was also a good outing for forward Mitch McGovern, who played his first minutes of football at any level in 2021.
McGovern kicked three goals and Stocker two in the 25-point victory on a warm afternoon at Ikon Park.
Williamstown kicked the first four goals of the game, but the Blues battled back to close the margin to 15 points…
