Twitter Rolls Out New Direct Message Overlay to All Desktop Users – Social Media Today
Twitter users on desktop will now be able to respond to direct messages without having to leave their main tweet feed, with Twitter adding a new message overlay window.
After testing it out over the past few months, Twitter has now officially launched its new direct message chat window on desktop, which enables users to engage with their messages without having to leave their main tweet feed.
