Twitter exploring subscription model and other features to augment revenue – XDA Developers
A new report from Bloomberg claims Twitter is entertaining the idea of a subscription model to make it less reliant on ad revenue.

Twitter is reportedly looking at alternative ways to bring in revenue, with a subscription model being one possibility. This would make the social network less reliant on targeted advertising.
According to Bloomberg, Twitters subscription product has gained more steam over the last several months thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and pressure from activist investors.
Twitter, the thinking goes, would benefit from a separate revenue stream that isnt as reliant on brand advertising, Bloomberg said….
